Day 1
Pick up from Trivandrum Airport / Railway Station. Proceed to HOTEL …

Check in to the Hotel near the beach. Hotel with swimming pool will be preferable. KOVALAM Beach: This internationally renowned beach has been favorite haunt of tourists since 1930’s. Kovalam consists of three adjacent crescent beaches. The southernmost, known as the -Light House beach- is the most popular. Enjoy the beach and remove your hang over of the long trip.

Evening visit: PADMANABHA SWAMY TEMPLE: This temple is located inside the East Fort. Dedicated to Lord Vishnu, the Temple is a blend of the Kerala and Dravidian styles of architecture. It is known for its mural paintings and stone carving. Only Hindus are allowed inside the temple. (Dress Code : DHOTHY for men and SAREE for women)

Day 2
Following the breakfast before 09:30 AM and Proceed to TRIVANDRUM Sight seeing at 10:00 AM …

The ZOOLOGICAL PARK: (10.00am to 6.15 pm- Closed on Mondays). One of the first Zoos in India. It is located in a well planed Botanical Garden, with huge trees, sprawling lawns and wild fowl swimming in the lakes which feel like a small jungle in the heart of the City. A reptile house with different species of snakes is also located in this premise.

LUNCH BREAK at 13:30 hrs till 14:30 Hrs.

SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY MUSEUM COMPLEX: The exhibits here are related to Science, Technology and Electronics.(10.00 am to 05.00 pm-Closed on Mondays)

PRIYADARSHINY PLANITORIUM, (Daily shows from 10.00 am to 5.00 pm)
The NAPIER MUSEUM & SREE CHITRA ART GALLERY: (10.00am to 04.45 pm- Closed on Mondays and Wednesday forenoons)
Located near the Napier Museum, this art gallery displays select paintings of RAJA RAVI VARMA, Svetlana and Nicholas Roerich and exquisite works from the Rajput, Mughal and Tanjore schools of art in India. The collection also includes paintings from China, Japan, Tibet and Bali.

Finish your sight seeing trip on or before 05:00 PM and return back to KOVALAM Beach… enjoy the sunset and return back to Hotel.

Day 3
Following the breakfast before 09:30 AM and Proceed to Alleppey/ Kollam

Board on to the A/C HOUSE BOAT from ALLEPPEY/ Kollam : Check in to the Houseboat at 12.00 Noon. With the Arabian Sea in the west and a vast network of lakes, lagoons and fresh water rivers criss-crossing it, Kumarakom/Alleppey is referred to as the Venice of the East by travelers from across the world. This backwater country is also home to diverse animal and bird life. House boat cruise through narrow canals- Pathiramanal Island – Virgin village-paddy fields-historical places - Temples - Snake boat – Coconut beer shop (Toddy shop) ---- R Block Islands - Kuttanad Village etc. Distance covered on each day will be 35 to 40 km on an average/day. Enjoy spectacular lush green paddy fields, where you may enjoy an unique nature, life style of village people and their activities like Coir roping, Toddy tapping etc.

Meals served will be of typical Kerala cuisine.
Lunch: Boiled/Basmati Rice, vegetables, fish fry/curry, salads, pappad. Evening: Tea / coffee with snacks. Dinner: Rice, chapathy, vegetable curries and chicken. Breakfast: Bread, butter, jam, and eggs to order or Kerala style Break Fast: (All meals are included in the package) (All meals will be provided in the House Boat.)

NB: 1.) 06.00 pm to 07.00 am- Boat will Anchored & it will be idle in the lake. (As per GOVT. Rule- Village people need to put the net in the lake for fishing).

You may enjoy the splendid sunsets, Waxing moon lights, dreaming stars and of course the delicious foods cooked and served by us. [You are mostly invited to our kitchen in the House Boat, to learn and try the list of ingredients and instructions for making something, especially a traditional food dish of KERALA for the dinner or for the Breakfast. If you are satisfied; don’t forget to note down the recipe and try it in future.

Day 4
Following the breakfast before 09:30 AM and Proceed to Varkala

Varkala is the only place in southern Kerala where one can find cliffs adjacent to the Arabian sea. These Teritiary sedimentary formation cliffs are a unique geological feature in the otherwise flat Kerala coast, and are known among geologists as Varkala Formation and a geological monument as declared by the Geological survey of India. There are numerous water spouts and spas on the sides of these cliffs.

Sivagiri is a pilgimage centre in Varkala, India where one of its social reformer and sage Sree Narayana Guru's tomb is located and place where guru was enlightend and got the salvation. The Samadhi (the final resting place) of the Guru here attracts thousands of devotees every year .

Day 5
Following the breakfast before 09:30 AM and Proceed to Kovalam Sight seeing at 10:00 AM …

Kovalam Beach :
Picturesque beaches, coconut fringes, the anglers' community, all sorts of fruits, palm beer, a large multitude of tourists swarming the sandy seashore, the lighthouse-all these are epithets that signify Kovalam, the exotic beach situated in the southern state of Kerala, popularly known as God's own country. The coconut fringes, palm beer, seafood and the refreshing Ayurvedic massage, a relaxing sunbath and suntan facility of the beach are some of the reasons of tourist attraction. The beach also has some entertainment facilities like swimming, yogic exercises, fresh seafood and diving in the Arabian Sea.
Shopping in Kovalam:

Shopping is fun at Kovalam You can buy handicraft items and spices from Kovalam besides sunglasses. The statues made of teak wood and Rose wood is popular at Kovalam beach. There are numerous craft and carpet shops (usually of Tibetan, Kashmiri and Rajasthani origin), clothing stores and general stores, yoga schools and massage parlours lining the beach.

Day 6
Following the breakfast; Departure with lot of memories, friendships and thousands of photographs. The cab will drop you at Trivandrum Junction/ Airport to catch the train/flight

The mode of transportation will be NON A/C INDICA. The cab with chauffer will be with you from Day 1 till your departure on Day6.
All transfers-from one place to another-will be done in the same vehicle. The entire local sight seeing and Transfers will be done by the same cab. The driver will be your guide, local guardian and friend during the time of the package.
